What is Without Excuse Ministries?
Without Excuse Ministries is the collective vision and efforts of Pastor Paul Walerczak (Indiana) and Outdoor Photographer, Writer, and Internet show host Bill Winke (Iowa).
During the 2008 whitetail deer season Pastor Paul stumbled upon Bill Winke's whitetail hunting website Midwestwhitetail.com. Bill mentioned in his Christmas episode that year that "Jesus Christ was the true reason for the season". Pastor Paul sent Bill a simple email both to thank and encourage him for sharing his faith in Jesus through his website. From that moment forward Bill and Pastor Paul began to develop a vision to reach outdoorsmen for Christ through the use of 5-10 minute video devotionals that would use outdoor illustrations to teach biblical truth. In August of 2009 the very first episode of Divine Moments aired on Midwestwhitetail.com Paul admits it was very intimidating stepping in front of the camera and also producing each segment personally. Those first few segments were very basic, but by God's grace and Bill's patient teaching on production each episode saw improvement. A total of 21 episodes aired between August of 2009 and January of 2010 with an average of 750 or so viewers per week.
Bill and Pastor Paul once again felt the Lord calling them to increase their ministry efforts as the 2009 season was drawing to a close. From their collective prayer over several months "Without Excuse Ministries" was born. The vision of Without Excuse Ministries is simple: "Use what God has created to reach the outdoorsmen with the life changing message that is only found in Jesus Christ".
Romans 1:20 "For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, [even] His eternal power and Godhead; so that they are "Without Excuse".
