Mr. Brad Herndon killed this great Indiana gobbler the first day of the season right behind his house. It was a 21 pound 2 year old gobbler. 10 1/4 inch beard, 22mm spurs.
Miss Carol Herndon killed this big Indiana gobbler at 11:22 a.m. She killed it when her and Mr. Brad Herndon called it in for the THIRD time! They had never pulled that off before. Really a fun hunt. 21 pounds, 3 year old with an 11 inch beard and 31mm and 33mm spurs.
Honorary Pro-Staff member Margy Pogue was hunting on Indiana state land by herself on opening morning and called in and killed this fine bird. 23 1/2 pounds, 11 inch beard and 33mm spurs. This time last year she was spending 23 days in the hospital where she had four bypasses, and also had both carotid arteries cleaned out, which were 60% and 80% blocked. God spared her life so she could experience another opening morning in His turkey woods. Margy is the sister to Pro-Staff member Brad Herndon.
