Good Morning,
We live in a society that is driven by production. In the middle of this workweek, do you feel pushed and shoved to get things done. Are there deadlines, quotas, productions to meet. In your domestic life, is the work around the home overwhelming today. I am so thankful for the hidden life we have with the Lord. In spite of all the pressure or stress the world can bring on us, we can have the enter peace and joy that comes from the Lord. Praying before I got up this morning, this Psalm came to mind. Hope it helps today. "THE LORD IS MY SHEPHERD, I SHALL NOT WANT. HE MAKETH ME TO LIE DOWN IN GREEN PASTURES; HE LEADETH ME BESIDE THE STILL WATERS. HE RESTORETH MY SOUL: HE LEADETH ME IN THE PATHS OF RIGHTEOUSNESS FOR HIS NAME'S SAKE. YEA, THOUGH I WALK THROUGH THE VALLEY OF THE SHADOW OF DEATH I WILL FEAR NO EVIL; FOR THOU ART WITH ME; THY ROD AND THY STAFF THEY COMFORT ME. THOU PREPAREST A TABLE BEFORE ME IN THE PRESENCE OF MINE ENEMIES: THOU ANOINTEST MY HEAD WITH OIL; MY CUP RUNNETH OVER. SURELY GOODNESS AND MERCY SHALL FOLLOW ME ALL THE DAYS OF MY LIFE: AND I SHALL DWELL IN THE HOUSE OF THE LORD FOR EVER." A saintly lady in her 80's told me once, that if I felt pushed, shoved, or driven, it was not the Lord. He gently leads. Please take time to read the Psalm again, and let Him lead you to those quite places today. God bless and remember that you are loved!!! Henry
