Introducing Re-Wind

ReWind is a four-part video series where producer Jason Cruise takes a look back in time at what he wished someone would have told him before ever pursuing a calling in the outdoor industry.

There’s no way I could have known as a little boy, working in my dad’s small outdoor store, that one day I’d have a place in the hunting industry, actually getting paid to do something that has shaped my life story.

Today, in this first of four segments we’re calling ReWind, I’m covering one of the bedrock truths that has shaped my life to this very day. It’s a core truth I wish someone would have shared with me when I was a kid, for it would have saved me from a ton of heartache.

When I say we are looking back into time, we’re doing exactly that. We are actually filming on location literally at the outdoor store that my dad owned, The Sportsman. It’s where I grew up working for my dad.

I can’t believe this whole thing has come full circle.
